Janet Jackson‘s October 11 concert at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT, was supposed to be her comeback show after a string of postponements because of an undisclosed illness. But one day after the announcement of her return came news of yet another postponed show, now numbering seven, since she became ill during a soundcheck in Montreal on September 29.

Additionally, Jackson was scheduled to hit the stage at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, NY, on October 13, but the performance was postponed due to doctor’s orders, according to a post on the venue’s Web site. Tickets will be honored at a rescheduled date to be announced soon.

This is Jackson’s eighth consecutive postponement, which began with her September 29 show in Montreal, QC, followed by Boston, MA (October 1), Philadelphia, PA (October 2), Greensboro, NC (October 4), Atlanta, GA (October 5) and Fort Lauderdale, FL (October 7), and now Uncasville, CT (October 11) and Verona, NY (October 13).

Jackson’s Rock Witchu Tour is tentatively on for the Wednesday, October 15, show at Verizon Center in Washington, DC, though her October 16 concert at Madison Square Garden in New York has already been rescheduled for November 1.
