TicketNetwork and up-and-coming ticket search company FanSnap have signed a partnership deal where TicketNetwork’s vast inventory of tickets will appear in the results when fans use the FanSnap search engine.
Launched in beta phase in September, FanSnap already has more than 7.5 million sports, concert and theater tickets in its database, with plans to add millions more as it continues to add partners. In addition to TicketNetwork, FanSnap has signed up 55 other partners, including StubHub, AllShows.com, Prestige Entertainment and RazorGator.
FanSnap, which recently secured $5.5 million in new financing, offers targeted searches for tickets, but it is not a broker site, nor is it a ticket exchange. Instead, when people enter a search term for an event, they see a map of the venue and links to a host of tickets offered by various brokers.
“One of the features most commented on in the industry is how simply and easily we present ‘comparable tickets’ – i.e. when similar (or even the same tickets) are shown on multiple sites,” FanSnap CEO and co-founder Mike Janes told TicketNews. “We present a single entry with links to each provider and their price and let the fans decide – quick and easy.”
The company’s patent-pending mapping feature allows fans to determine at-a-glance the ticket price range by section using colored “heat map” summary markers. The dynamic viewpoint also offers fans the chance to zoom in to see the ticket offers, placed in clearly labeled rows, from the various providers.

FanSnap will be an exhibitor at Ticket Summit NYC, scheduled for January 6-8 in New York City.
