The popular American Idols Live tour is proving to be virtually recession-proof as ticket sales continue to remain strong, according to USA Today. Primarily because of the loyal fan base of runner-up Adam Lambert, the tour is selling the same percentage of tickets as last year, 82 percent, and has grossed more than $11 million so far this year.
