Troy, MI resident Kyle Branum, who was suspected of running a Nickelback tickets scam on several concert fans last week, reportedly committed suicide after the scheme was uncovered.

According to WJBK-TV Fox 2 Detroit, Branum was suspected of using Craig’s List to sell multiple copies of electronic tickets to several fans, but when they tried to get into the popular band’s recent concert in Clarkston, MI they were turned away because the tickets had already been scanned. See the video below.

Angry fans then went back on Craig’s List to report the alleged scam, many of whom physically threatened Branum by name, and posted a picture of him and description of his car. His body was discovered in his home hours later, the victim of an apparent suicide, according to local police.
