PRESS RELEASE: “Ticket Industry Veteran Dennis Scanlon Joins PrimeSport as Vice President, Partner Relationships”

LOS ANGELES, CA (PrimeSport) September 1, 2009 – PrimeSport announced today the addition of Dennis Scanlon as Vice President of Partner Relationships. Scanlon joins the PrimeSport team after working in a variety of roles during a 23-year tenure with Ticketmaster, most recently as vice president of advanced product sales and client satisfaction, a role he held since March 2005.

“Dennis has the skill set, reputation and network of contacts that make him a perfect fit for PrimeSport,” said Brendan Ross, CEO of PrimeSport. “PrimeSport is the most established company in what is an emerging industry. Dennis’ knowledge of the ticket and hospitality industry, and specifically the collegiate market the last few years, served him well during a long career at Ticketmaster. I saw a lot of his abilities firsthand during my years with that company as well.”

As vice president of partner relationships, Scanlon will be responsible for increasing the number of PrimeSport professional and collegiate partnerships and what the company can offer to customers with overall sports experience packages.

“PrimeSport already has a very strategic business model in an area that will grow significantly in the near future,” said Scanlon, who started at PrimeSport on Aug. 17. “The bundling of tickets with top-notch travel and event experiences, along with the new fractionalized suite concept, positions PrimeSport as the one-stop shop for teams, companies and fans looking for the full experience when planning to attend a major sporting event.”

As vice president of advanced product sales and client satisfaction at Ticketmaster, Scanlon launched relationships with 76 collegiate and other professional clients. Before that, he served as the company’s vice president of integrated products marketing for five years, beginning in March 2000. In that position he piloted sales and marketing efforts for ticketing and customer relationship management solutions.

“Beyond his long tenure within the industry, the quality of his experience is equally as impressive. We expect him to provide an immediate and substantial contribution to the success of PrimeSport,” said Ross.

Scanlon’s career with Ticketmaster began in 1986 with a successful 12-year run as the general manager for the region comprised of Southern Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia.

Scanlon also served as the vice president of access control for Tickets.com, helping lead the merger of two independent technology service companies into Tickets.com and reorienting the company’s business model to address best practices for high profile national event clients.
