Chip Kelly, head coach of the Oregon Ducks football team, has gained the respect of fan Tony Seminary in a unique way. According to ESPN, Kelly refunded Seminary $439 in expenses following Seminary’s complaints for Oregon’s early season loss to Boise State, the game in which running back LeGarrette Blount threw a sucker punch at a Boise State player. Seminary, an Oregon alumnus, sent the check back to Kelly, but told ESPN that he appreciated the gesture and has a newfound respect for Kelly.
