Chinese officials are continuing their fight against ticket scalpers near the famed Bird’s Nest Olympic stadium, according to China Daily. Police arrested more than two dozen scalpers over the summer, a year after the Beijing Olympics, who were allegedly preying upon tourists who still frequent the stadium and other Olympic venues. Many of those arrested were part of a gang that may still have other scalpers in their midst, according to China Daily. The scalpers were allegedly generating hundreds, even thousands, of yuan (Chinese currency) per day.
