Comcast-Spectacor, owner of the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team and 76ers basketball team, is considering implementing a paperless ticketing system at the Wachovia Center where the teams play. According to the Philadelphia Daily News, Peter Luukko, chief operating officer for Comcast-Spectacor, likes the system because he believes it not only offers fans more convenience, but also because it can help in his company’s fight against the secondary ticket market by further controlling the ticketing process.
