Legendary Florida State football coach Bobby Bowden is wrapping up his illustrious career with the January 1 Konica Minolta Gator Bowl against West Virginia in Jacksonville, and according to The Palm Beach Post, Bowden’s retirement is causing a run on tickets. As of December 7, one day after the two teams were announced, tickets reportedly sold out. Bowden has coached at Florida State since 1976, and the team has appeared in 27 straight bowl games since 1982.
