PRESS RELEASE: “Digonex® to Collaborate with the Charlotte Bobcats for Pricing Analysis & Consultation”

INDIANAPOLIS (Digonex Technologies) November 16, 2010 – Leading dynamic pricing software developer Digonex Technologies, Inc., today announced that the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Charlotte Bobcats will use its Sports & Entertainment Analytical Ticketing System (SEATS™), to evaluate alternative ticket pricing structures to help demonstrate its commitment to their fans.

SEATS is a fully automated commerce engine that analyzes sales data and provides price recommendations based upon econometric and behavioral principles. Taking a customizable approach, SEATS offers enhanced features and capabilities enabling access to critical data for fine tuning pricing for all major sports leagues and events. Integration of Digonex’s proprietary core dynamic pricing engine with sports content such as injury reports, team standings and conference matchups gives sports franchises the most robust, data rich solution which can be used to calculate the right prices for tickets.

“Dynamic pricing is the direction our industry is heading, and we’ve chosen Digonex to help us explore the strategic implications of moving down that path,” said Bobcats Sports & Entertainment President and Chief Operating Officer Fred Whitfield. “Their SEATS platform is a unique and valuable tool that can help us identify our fans’ ticket buying behavior and market trends in order to find the right price for single game tickets.”

Digonex will perform an analysis on the fan-based pricing structure for single games and make instant price recommendations to the Bobcats for selected games for the 2010-2011 season.

The Bobcats will be the first NBA Team to use SEATS’ new Price Delivery Portal for reviewing and accepting price recommendations, providing the easiest and most flexible way for teams to analyze fan data and immediately put it into action. SEATS continuously identifies the ‘sweet spot’ where prices follow perceived market value and generate maximum economic return for clients while providing fair prices for consumers. It is designed to integrate easily with most platforms.

“The response to the SEATS platform has been tremendous. We’ve helped several franchises across a variety of sports launch successful pilot programs to demonstrate how dynamic pricing can increase profitability and ticket sales, while maintaining positive fan experiences,” said Jan Eglen, CEO of Digonex. “We are confident we can do that for the Bobcats as well.”
