PRESS RELEASE: “Twins Announce Partnership with Tix for Tots”

MINNEAPOLIS – ST. PAUL, Minn. (Minnesota Twins) June 3, 2011 — The Minnesota Twins today announced a new partnership with Tix for Tots, a local, non-profit charitable organization assisting youth in the Twin Cities and across Minnesota. Through the partnership, Twins Season Ticket Holders are able to quickly and easily donate their unused tickets to deserving youth throughout the state.

“The Minnesota Twins are proud to partner with Tix for Tots, an organization with a strong history of giving in Minnesota,” said Bryan Donaldson, Director of Community Relations for the Minnesota Twins. “This is a great opportunity for our fans to share Twins tickets with kids who would not ordinarily have the opportunity to attend a Twins game.”

Twins Season Ticket Holders can donate their tickets through My Twins Tickets, the online management tool that allows fans to transfer, resell, manage and now DONATE Twins tickets.

“Nothing speaks to childhood memories like a summer baseball game! It’s an American rite of passage,” said Robb Neuenschwander, Tix for Tots President and Founder. “We are so pleased to extend our long standing partnership with the Twins out to the season ticket holders. By making this donation channel so easy and available, every ticket holder now has the power to make this memory happen for kids who don’t otherwise have these opportunities. What could be better?”
