“With the addition of our very first native Android app, we’re thrilled that we can now serve the vast majority of mobile users with a native SeatGeek experience tailored to their device” said Russ D’Souza, co-Founder of SeatGeek. “We’ve seen Android traffic to SeatGeek.com grow by 50% in just a matter of 3 months, so it’s exciting to finally offer up a best-in-class product to help Android users discover the absolute best deals on event tickets.”

SeatGeek for Android includes all of the same features and functionality of SeatGeek’s iOS applications, which have been featured on the home page of the iTunes App Store three times since their launch in December 2012. SeatGeek for Android offers a way for consumers to search over 100+ ticket sites at once – ranging from major providers like TicketsNow, TicketNetwork and Ebay all the way down to individual brokers and ticket agencies.

Once users find an event they’re interested in on SeatGeek for Android, they’ll be able to explore ticketing options in the venue using immersive interactive maps that detail tickets down to the row level and provide real life view-from-seat images to help consumers understand the view those tickets will provide.
