The New York Comedy Festival announced the lineup for the 12th annual Stand Up For Heroes Event this fall, including performers Bruce Springsteen, Eric Church, and Jimmy Carr.

Presented by the Bob Woodruff Foundation and the NYCF, Stand Up For Heroes will take place on November 5 at Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater. Confirmed performers include Carr, Church, and Springsteen, along with Seth Myers, John Stewart, Conan O’Brien, Gabriel Iglesias, and other surprise guests. Performers will take the stage in honor of veterans and their families who were impacted during and post-9/11.

Since its debut eleven years ago, SUFH has raised more than $45 million, creating “long-lasting, positive outcomes for our nation’s injured veterans, service members and their families.” Additionally, the BWF has invested over $55 million to support programs for veterans; last year, it awarded $4.7 million in grants to nearly 50 programs.

“Every year I look forward to spending time with our veterans and their families at Stand Up for Heroes – connectedness and community are essential to help them thrive after their time in uniform,” Anne Marie Dougherty, executive director of the Bob Woodruff Foundation, said in a press release. “This event is our chance to “stand together,” reminding our veterans that they are not alone in this journey.”

Founder of the NYCF and BWF board member explained that the event is “an incredible example of the healing powers of music and laughter.”

“We are proud to commend our veterans, and are thrilled to present the event, which wouldn’t be possible without the time and dedication from all of the performers and supporters of the organization over the years.”

Tickets for the event go on sale tomorrow and for those that are unable to attend, an online auction will offer high-end experiences and items for bid.
