After six years, the rockers of Vampire Weekend have returned to the music scene with news of a headlining North American tour and forthcoming LP.

Following a show at Hangout Music Festival late May, the band will kick-off their tour in Toronto, Ontario on June 5. From there, they’ll make stops in cities like Minneapolis, St. Louis, Charlotte, Miami, Boston, New York, San Francisco and Salt Lake City before wrapping-up in Morrison, Colorado at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Their schedule is also loaded with various music festivals, including overseas fests like Portugal’s NPS Alive, Spain’s Mad Cool, Down The Rabbit Hole in the Netherlands, and Open’er Festival in Poland. Additionally, they’re booked to play at Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware this June alongside acts like Post Malone, Walk The Moon, Panic! At The Disco, and Travis Scott.

Vampire Weekend’s fourth record, Father of the Bride, drops this spring. So far, tracks “Harmony Hall” and “2021” have been released. The LP is their first in six years, following 2013’s Modern Vampires of the City and Contra from 2010. They are best-known for bubbly, indie-rock tracks like “A Punk” off their 2008 debut and “Unbelievers” off their latest record.
