K-Pop has been taking over the music scene and another group has caught the nation’s attention.
DAY6, best-known for the single “Days Gone By,” have announced a 31-date world tour later this year. The trek will kick-off on August 9 in Daegu, Korea, followed by shows in U.S. cities like New York City, Miami, Chicago, and Los Angeles before heading back overseas to Europe. There, they’ll appear in Italy, France, the Netherlands, and Russia before wrapping-up in Madrid, Spain next January.
The group first debuted on the scene in 2015, but their breakthrough record UNLOCK in 2018 helped them sell-out a world tour. Late last year, they released the EP Remember Us: Youth Part 2. They have garnered attention with tracks like “Shoot Me,” “You Were Beautiful,” and “I Need Somebody.”
K-Pop is on the rise and artists have been continuing to break records. BTS became the first K-Pop band to play a U.S. stadium show last year, and BLACKPINK were the first K-Pop girl group to play Coachella. NCT-127 also debuted in the U.S. on tour this past spring.
