Metalcore group Issues just revealed their return to the music scene with news of a forthcoming record and North American outing.

The trek will kick-off on November 7 in Oklahoma City, followed by gigs in cities like Phoenix, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Detroit, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. Along the way, they’ll appear at Dallas’ House of Blues, Summit Music Hall in Denver, Club Soda in Montreal, New York City’s Gramercy, and Charlotte’s Underground before wrapping-up at the House of Blues in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on December 15. Polyphia, Lil Aaron, and Sleep Token will provide support on all dates.

Earlier this year, the band dropped the track “Tapping Out,” and followed on Monday with “Drink About It.” They revealed that both tracks are a part of their third forthcoming record, Beautiful Oblivion, due October 4 via Rise Records.

“‘Drink About It’ is something I feel everyone can relate to,” singer Tyler Carter said in a statement. “The song, quite frankly, is about cheater being found out by their unfortunate partner. The idea is this: ‘I think you know… you know something… how much do you know…? I’m just gonna let them sweat it out a little bit.’ But that play on words is also saying, ‘You’re all I drink about’ and at this point I wanna sweat you out of my system.”

Beautiful Oblivion follows 2016’s Headspace, which features tracks “COMA,” “Yung & Dum” featuring Jon Langston, and “Flojo.” The group started to garner attention in the scene with their 2014 self-titled debut LP and EP Diamond Dreams with “Mad At Myself,” “Never Lose Your Flames,” and “Disappear [Remember When].” They often cross genres, blending their post-hardcore screams and bass with pop and R&B tunes.
