The rockers of Jimmy Eat World are back, and now, they’re heading out on tour next year to support new music.

The North American trek is Canada-heavy, kicking-off in Halifax, Nova Scotia on April 23, 2020. From there, the group will visit Montreal, Kingston, Ottawa, and Winnipeg, making stops along the way throughout the states at venues like Green Bay’s Meyer There, The Loft in Lansing, and Fargo’s Sanctuary Events Center before wrapping-up in Vancouver at the Commodore Ballroom on May 18. Throughout the run, Jimmy Eat World will be joined by JJ Wilde and White Reaper, varying per date.

Currently, the group is on a fall tour across the U.S., where they’ll hit cities like Wichita, Madison, Grand Rapids, Poughkeepsie, Brooklyn, and Brooklyn. The current run will conclude with an Almost Acoustic Christmas show at the Honda Center in Anaheim early December.

Surviving, the band’s 10th studio album, just dropped earlier this month and features singles “All The Way” and “Love Never.” Ahead of the release, frontman Jim Adkins noted that when he heard previous records, he can “hear that maybe I was trying to tell myself some things before…but didn’t really want to let them in.”

“Our 1999 album was called Clarity, but I really wasn’t on a quest for clarity when we put that out,” he said in a statement. “The crux of the decision is ‘Am I going to do something different or am I going to continue even though I hate who I a right now?’ That’s the different between surviving and truly living. That’s the point of the songs on Surviving.”

The LP follows 2016’s Integrity Blues and Damage from 2013. Jimmy Eat World is best-known for staple tracks in the rock genre like “The Middle” and “Sweetness” from 2001’s Bleed American.
