Actress Elle Fanning is preparing for a new role, but this time, it’s for her Broadway debut.

Fanning, an Emmy, Golden Globe, and SAG Award nominee, will star in the Broadway production “Appropriate.” The Brandon Jacob-Jenkins’ story, directed by Lila Neugebauer, is set to begin previews at Second Stage’s Hayes Theatre on November 29 with an official opening date of December 18.

“Appropriate,” which marks playwright Jacob-Jenkins’ debut on Broadway, is a dark, comedic drama that delves into the story of a family in the south that reunites in Arkansas to discuss the remains of an estate. Throughout the weekend, the children of the late homeowner each have a different motive, but as items suddenly begin to be discovered, they’re all forced to face the past.
