Cumulative ticket sales for Broadway’s current 30-show roster dipped ever-so-slightly to close the week ending November 6 at $21,189,810.

Production gains in some places were counter-balanced by moderate losses elsewhere, and ultimately resulted in a $40,000 drop from the October 30 reporting week. But Broadway could get its groove back in coming weeks, as more new productions enter the boards and complete more performances.

Two weeks ago, all eyes were on Hugh Jackman as his new song-and-dance revue “Back on Broadway” began previews and raked in a hefty $1.21 million in ticket sales. In the week ending November 6, the A-list action star again hit million-dollar territory with a $1.17 million total, despite playing one fewer show than the previous week.

Other new shows in previews are experiencing slower starts out of the gate. New musical “Bonnie & Clyde” began previews November 4 and grossed $265,147 for five weekend shows. “Private Lives,” starring Kim Cattrall and Paul Gross, snuck in its first preview November 6 and grossed $51,250 for that performance.

Elsewhere on the Great White Way, box offices were split between modest gains or moderate decreases compared to the earlier October 30 frame.

On the upside, ticket sales for “Godspell” ramped up 17 percent to $310,908 in the week leading up to its November 7 opening. Dark comedy “Seminar” saw the biggest boost overall — up 114 percent to $308,019 — as the Alan Rickman-starrer completed its first full week of previews.

“Mamma Mia!” saw the deepest downturn, as sales fell 21.5 percent to close the week ending November 6 at $666,325. Another long-running Main Stem musical wasn’t far behind. Ticket sales for “Chicago” fell more than 14 percent to $457,708.

Even “Wicked” wasn’t safe from slipping sales; its weekly gross dropped nearly 6 percent from the previous week to $1.54 million. The slide was enough to make “The Lion King” ($1.57 million) the week’s top grossing show.
