Kings of Leon expanded its summer itinerary into fall this week with the inclusion of new Canadian concert dates. After its U.S. shows wrap in mid-September, the Southern rock quintet will head north, where it plans to play nearly 10 markets through October.

Canada’s first date of the 2011 summer tour is September 14 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC. The next date isn’t until September 30 at Scotiabank Saddledom in Calgary, AB, but the remainder of the shows fall in quick succession after that, wrapping October 15 at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa, ON.

Stops in between include performances on October 4 at MTS Centre in Winnipeg, MB, and October 11 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON. In all, the Kings will grace six provinces with their musical presence.

Public ticket sales begin tomorrow, May 6, for Canada’s concerts. Pre-fee ticket face values start around CA $29.50 and reach up to CA $69.50 in most markets featured on the outing.
