Pop rock quintet Maroon 5 has extended its U.S. tour itinerary through the fall in anticipation of the release of its third studio album.

Fourteen concerts have been confirmed for the fall, beginning with an October 6 gig at Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara, CA, and concluding at the end of the month with an October 29 set at Shooting Start Casino in Mahnomen, MN. Other scheduled performance dates include October 8 at Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA; October 15 at Arco Arena in Sacramento, CA; and October 27 at UIC Pavilion in Chicago, IL.

Public ticket sales for the Chicago concert began over the weekend, with tickets priced from $28 to $64, according to Ticketmaster.com listings. A majority of the remaining onsales for the fall tour begin over the July 10-11 weekend, and more details are available on the band’s official Web site.

The fall leg is a follow-up to the band’s planned 20-date summer tour that runs from July 30 at the Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY, through September 1 at Murat Theatre in Indianapolis, IN.

Primary supporting acts for the summer includes Guster, Owl City and Kris Allen on select dates, while Ry Cuming and VV Brown split opening duties. In the fall, OneRepublic will take over as the main support, while Bruno Mars joins Cuming on the opening roster.

Maroon 5 is touring hard and expanding its schedule in anticipation of the release for “Hands All Over,” the group’s third studio album. The effort is slated to drop in North America on September 21, while support for the record could stretch well into next year.

“As far as I know, the next two years are already pretty much booked — around the world, several times,” keyboardist Jesse Carmichael said in an interview with Billboard.

Carmichael added that the Los Angeles-based band is “doing a lot of rehearsals these days, trying to put together new musical moments for the tour, new transitions, new cover songs, maybe different arrangements of older songs — just really trying to give people a new, exciting experience, especially for people who have seen us a lot in the last eight years.”
