Canada’s own prog-rock royalty Rush has unveiled the calendar for a summer-long run through North American amphitheatres. The 37-date Time Machine Tour kicks off June 29 at the Hard Rock Casino in Albuquerque, NM, and wraps up October 2 at Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, FL.

Original Rush members Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart will play a variety of songs from their musical catalogue past, present and future. The three musicians are currently in the studio recording their 20th studio album.

However, the main attraction on the tour’s set list will be the live performance of Rush’s acclaimed 1981 album “Moving Pictures” in its entirety. The record’s track list includes well known singles “Tom Sawyer” and “Limelight,” as well as the instrumental “YYZ.”

The U.S. portion of the itinerary includes performances on July 5 at the Charter One Pavilion in Chicago, IL; July 21 at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ; August 11 at the LA Forum in Los Angeles, CA; and September 14 at TD Garden in Boston, MA.

The rock trio has slated only four performances for audiences in the band’s native Canada. Those concerts are lined up for July 9 at Rogers Sarnia Bayfest in Sarnia, ON; July 13 at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto, ON; July 15 at Festival d’ete de Quebec in Quebec City, QC; and July 17 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON.

Initial ticket onsales start over the April 16-17 weekend, but more than 20 concert dates are still awaiting onsale announcements. More details are available on Rush’s official Web site.
