The Sydney-based pop-punk band Tonight Alive is hitting the road this May in support of their latest record, Underworld, and opening acts were just revealed.

Before Jenna McDougall and her bandmates take the stage, the Melbourne pop-punk band Between You & Me and AViVa, a solo artist from Sydney, will open the show. The Australian tour lasts just for one week. It will kick-off on May 3 in Canberra before making stops in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne. Adelaide will close out the trek on May 12 at The Gov.

Tonight Alive has made quite a name for themselves since their formation in 2008. Their debut record What Are You So Scared Of? charted in both the U.S. and globally with hit tracks “Breaking & Entering,” “Listening,” and Eject, Eject, Eject!” Two more records were released following their debut, and just this past January, their fourth studio album dropped. Underworld includes singles “Temple,” “Crack My Heart,” and “Disappear,” which features Pvris lead singer Lyndsey Gunnulfsen.

McDougall explained at the 2018 UNIFY Gathering festival that she named the album Underworld because “it reflects the ugly parts of me that I wasn’t ready to see until now.”

On June 21, Tonight Alive will begin their journey on the last ever Vans Warped Tour. The final cross-country run will feature Warped veterans like All Time Low, Simple Plan, Bowling For Soup, and We The Kings, while still staying true to the tour’s mission by introducing new, up-and-coming acts. West Palm Beach, Florida will close out the tour on August 5. This will be Tonight Alive’s fourth appearance on the annual traveling rock festival.
