Several popular theater shows are hitting the ticket market this weekend. The Lion King’s performances at the Citizen’s Bank Opera House in Boston will go on sale Saturday, along with Hamilton’s stage show in Providence. Later in the weekend, Cats’ run at Detroit’s Fisher Theatre will release tickets on Sunday and The Spongebob Musical’s engagements at Boston’s Boch Center Wang Theatre will have tickets available Monday.
Madonna’s Madame X shows in Philadelphia will release tickets on Monday as well. The Queen of Pop’s upcoming tour will see her perform intimate theater shows across the country, and she recently added more shows due to high demand.
Professional and college football fans can snag tickets this weekend as well; the Oakland Raiders preseason game against the Green Bay Packers in Winnipeg will release general sale tickets on Saturday and the University of Florida’s Gators will release presale tickets to select home games on Monday.
The Just for Laughs comedy festival in Toronto will release presale tickets on Monday to see Gabriel Iglesias, Eric Andre, Nick Kroll and others. Comedians Ken Jeong and Joel McHale’s stage show together will visit Lincoln’s Thunder Valley Casino Resort, with tickets available Saturday.
Additional shows with tickets up-for-grabs this weekend include The Eagles’ October performance at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas where they’ll play Hotel California in full, Rent shows throughout Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary, Kiss 107.1’s Loud and Proud show featuring Lizzo in Cincinnati, and the Gaither Vocal Band’s performances around the country.
