Rapper Tyler, the Creator and singer-songwriter Jason Mraz are among artists releasing tickets to shows on Friday. Tyler, the Creator, fresh off festival performances at Boston Calling and Governor’s Ball, announced his upcoming tour this week in support of his new album IGOR. Mraz announced intimate An Evening with shows this week as well, with support from Raining Jane.
Several other highly-anticipated tours are going on sale tomorrow including Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band’s farewell tour, Bon Iver’s fall shows, Matt and Kim’s outing celebrating the 10th anniversary of their album Grand, Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen’s Deep Talk and Shallow Tales engagement, and indie heroes Dinosaur Jr.’s fall tour.
A handful of sports organizations will also release tickets for sale on Friday. The Oakland Raiders preseason face-off against the Green Bay Packers in Winnipeg will have presale tickets available, while the UFC Hall of Fame induction ceremony will have general sale tickets up for sale, along with UFC Fight Night in San Antonio in July. Professional Bull Riding’s Greensboro Invitational will also have tickets up-for-grabs, as will WWE’s SummerSlam Heatwave tour.
In the comedy world, tickets to Jerry Seinfeld’s stand-up shows in Reading and Long Beach will be available, as well as Ali Wong’s shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Philadelphia, George Lopez’s performances in Manson and Denver and Joe Rogan’s stand-up engagements in cities across the country.
Several other shows are releasing tickets including TINA: The Tina Turner Musical’s Broadway run, rap legends Snoop Dogg and Wu-Tang Clan’s 25th anniversary celebration in Bristow, Lollapalooza aftershows around Chicago, Blink-182 and Lil Wayne’s show in Saint Paul, and Rock and Shock – a three-day convention celebrating horror and heavy metal in Worcester.
