The rockers of Dave Matthews band will perform a special and intimate invite-only show for SiriusXM subscribers and Pandora listeners next month in Los Angeles.
The concert, set to take place on September 11 at SiriusXM’s newly expanded LA Studios dubbed “The Garage,” will be an entirely acoustic set. Matthews will also take some Q&A with a select group of fans. Earlier this year, SiriusXM launched the “Dave Matthews Band Radio,” which will continue to run through September 15. The show plays music from Matthews’ career, while also including snippets from the band’s 2019 tour, set to air each Friday this summer as a part of the “DMB Friday Night Concert Series.”
“The Garage,” a new venue in the city, will be used for live music, talk and comedy performances, and special events, a press release states, noting that the space has one of the industry’s best sound boards, system, and acoustics, with various audience seating and street-level access.
SiriusXM subscribers who have signed up to receive marketing emails from SiriusXM will receive an invitation if they have been chosen to attend the event. DMB fans who are either SiriusXM subscribers or Pandora listeners also have the chance to score a trip for two to Los Angeles to see the band through an ongoing sweepstakes. Those unable to attend the show can hear the concert broadcasted on Thursday, September 12 at 5p.m. ET/PT on SiriusXM’s Dave Matthews Band Radio.
Currently, DMB is on their massive 2019 tour and are set to stop next in Greenwood Village, Colorado at the Fiddler’s Green AMphitheatre. From there, they’ll head to Washington’s Gorge Amphitheatre and Sunlight Supply Amphitheater, the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena in Nevada, Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center, and Phoenix’s Ak-Chin Pavilion before wrapping-up in New Jersey at the Sea.Hear.Now. Festival late September. The group is touring in support of their ninth studio album, Come Tomorrow, which dropped last year.
