Singer-songwriter Jason Mraz is tipping his hat to fans this summer with the recently announced Gratitude Cafe Tour. The fedora-wearing musician bookends his headlining plans by supporting Dave Matthews Band on July 24 at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, PA, and August 30 at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA.

On his coast-to-coast tour, Mraz will headline a total of 15 concerts and make additional stops at several festivals and special concert events. Highlights on his itinerary include a July 25 concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD, an August 4-5 stand at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston, MA, and an August 15 performance at The Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, ON.

Mraz’s special appearances include an August 1 set at the Osheaga Festival at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, QC, and an appearance at the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival on August 29 at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, CA.

Pre-sales for Mraz’s headlining dates started yesterday, May 13. Public on-sales will all begin between May 15 and May 17.

According to Mraz’s official Web site, the tour is meant to thank “all the fans who have supported Jason through the years.” G. Love & Special Sauce, K’naan and Bushwalla are a few of the confirmed supporting acts for the tour.

Mraz is continuing to support his third studio album, the 2008 Platinum-certified release “We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.” The record peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, earning Mraz his highest chart position to date. The effort’s first single “I’m Yours” was certified triple-Platinum in March.

Earlier this year, Mraz similarly used a couple opening dates with Dave Matthews Band to open and close a brief spring tour that hit eight Midwestern cities from April 26 through May 6. The Virginia-based musician has a batch of European dates filling his calendar in June and July, beginning with a June 20 appearance at the Gold Coast Ocean Festival in the United Kingdom.
