John Legend is an American R&B/soul vocalist and pianist who has won six Grammy Awards. He has released three full-length studio albums: “Get Lifted” (2004) and “Once Again” (2006), which are both Platinum-certified, and the Gold-certified “Evolver” (2008). He tours frequently behind his releases, often with support from other up-and-coming R&B acts on the billing. Since the fall 2008 release of “Evolver,” Legend has completed a fall 2008 and winter 2009 tour leg, and announced an extensive summer amphitheater tour across North America. He is a popular live act and regularly books large clubs, theaters and amphitheaters. If his albums continue to be well-received, he could soon graduate to headlining arenas and stadiums.
