Country singer-songwriter Luke Combs’s stop in Kentucky topped yesterday’s best-selling events list, according to Ticket Club sales data.

Combs is the most recent inductee into the Grand Ol’ Opry and has released one album for Columbia Nashville which has produced five singles: “Hurricane,” “When It Rains it Pours,” “One Number Away,” “She Got the Best of ME,” and “Beautiful Crazy” – all five of which have reached the number one position on Billboard’s Country Airplay, which made Combs the first artist to have five number ones on the chart with his first five single releases. He was followed in sales by megastar Post Malone, known for huge hits like “Rockstar” and “Psycho.” He will embark on his Runaway Tour this year and will be joined by one half of hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, Swae Lee.  Other musicians who saw huge sales included Elton John, Duran Duran and the Original Misfits’ reunion shows. Drake’s OVO Fest also sold into the top twenty.

Yesterday’s top-selling sports event was the 2019 International Champions Cup, the seventh edition of a series of friendly association soccer matches. The New England Patriots vs. the Dallas Cowboys and the Boston Red Sox. vs. the New York Yankees were also hot-selling games.
