Music festivals across the country are releasing general sale tickets on Friday. City of Trees, Sacramento’s alternative festival, will release tickets, with this year’s lineup featuring Incubus as they celebrate the 20th anniversary of their breakout album Make Yourself. Dia de Los Deftones, the genre-defying festival curated by alternative metal band the Deftones, will also release general sale tickets tomorrow, with a headlining spot from its creators, as well as performances from Chvrches, Gojira and JPEGMAFIA. Other festivals with tickets available Friday include Broadway’s Central Park festival Elsie Fest, the 2020 CMA Fest and iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina, featuring performances from Jennifer Lopez and Daddy Yankee.
Several other artists are releasing tickets to headlining shows tomorrow as well. Chance the Rapper’s The Big Day tour dates will go on sale as the rapper promotes his latest album of the same name. Rockers Journey recently announced an extension of their Las Vegas residency, including a New Year’s Eve show at Caesars Palace. Pop rock band The 1975’s brief end-of-year run became just a bit longer when the band announced an extra Camden date, with tickets on sale tomorrow as well. Additional concerts on sale Friday include Santana’s San Francisco show, Gladys Knight’s Hollywood performance and Sting’s My Songs show in Jacksonville.
Theater shows up-for-grabs tomorrow include Jersey Boys’ Cincinnatti run, The Office! A Musical Parody in Anaheim and Cats performances in Houston. Comedy shows with tickets on sale include Ricky Gervais’ New York City and Los Angeles SuperNature shows, Jerry Seinfeld’s three Chicago shows, Jay Leno’s Waukegan performance and George Lopez’s The Wall tour stop in Reno.
Additional tickets on sale Friday include Wu-Tang Clan’s Austin City Limits performance, Ice Cube’s Richmond and Coquitlam shows, Billy Ray Cyrus and Lil Nas X’s collaborative show at Caesars Windsor and Staind’s one-off show at the Grand Theater at Foxwoods in Connecticut.
