Kelly Clarkson, the first winner of “American Idol”, has announced the dates for her upcoming North American tour to support the release of her third album, “My December”. She will begin the tour to promote her third album on July 7, at the Giants Stadium in Rutherford, New Jersey, and will stay on the road through the end of September.
Clarkson’s 2004 cd, “Breakaway” was a gigantic hit, selling 6 million copies in the U.S. and 10 million worldwide.
Her first single from “My December,” “Never Again,” has been released and continues to hold strong on the Billboard charts.
