Buckcherry is an American hard rock band based out of Los Angeles, CA. The group formed in the mid-1990s, releasing its eponymous major label debut in 1999, but only produced one follow-up album before going on hiatus in 2002. After four years, the rock group returned to the industry with a new album.

Buckcherry’s most recent release, 2008’s “Black Butterfly,” is also its highest-charting release, hitting No. 8 on the Billboard 200. Due to the commercial success of the release, the band has completed several North American arena tour legs, sharing the billing on most dates with Avenged Sevenfold.
