Dane Cook got his big break in stand-up comedy in 1998, when he performed on Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend.” By 2000, he had appeared in his own half-hour special on Comedy Central, and in 2003, Cook released his first album (a CD/DVD) entitled “Harmful if Swallowed.” Since then, he has created four more, including his most recent disc, “Isolated Incident,” released in May 2009.

Cook has also achieved some success as an actor, nabbing small parts in several films before starring in “Employee of the Month” in 2006 alongside Jessica Simpson. He also landed major parts in “Good Luck Chuck” and “Dan in Real Life,” and he explored his serious side with “Mr. Brooks,” all of which were released in 2007. Most recently, he starred in “My Best Friend’s Girl” in 2008. His “Global Thermo” comedy tour continues in fall 2009.
