Philadelphia-based TicketLeap is software and Web application company dedicated to helping people, bands, small venues, theater companies and amateur sports team, among others, sell tickets to their events. Nominal processing fees apply to the sale of tickets with a face value, but there are no fees associated with free tickets.
The company has a Web site where people can register for free to create accounts to sell tickets to their own events, but TicketLeap’s claim to fame is that it was one of the first ticketing company’s to create a free application on the social networking site Facebook that allows people to sell tickets to their events directly from their profiles.
