TicketForce signs Facebook ticketing deal with Vee Corp.
PRESS RELEASE: "VEE CORPORATION CHOOSES TICKETFORCE'S FACEBOOK TICKETING"
MESA, Ariz. (TicketForce) December 15, 2011 — TicketForce, a major player in the online ticketing business, announced today that VEE Corporation has chosen to use TicketForce's Facebook Ticketing solution to sell tickets through the world's most popular social media site.
VEE Corporation is the premier producer and promoter for live stage family entertainment on tour, such as Sesame Street Live and many other Broadway-caliber productions over three decades.
Through TicketForce's Facebook Ticketing service, which launched in January 2011, VEE Corporation will be able to sell tickets to its biggest fans directly through its Sesame Street Live fan page beginning spring 2012. VEE Corporation will also use TicketForce for its private label solution for certain engagements.
"Our experience as a ticketing agency positions TicketForce to provide not only the Facebook Ticketing service, but also the service needed for a corporation like VEE," said Lynne King Smith, CEO of TicketForce. "Our team will manage the whole project with the quick turnaround and expertise that they need."
Using the Facebook Ticketing application, customers purchasing tickets never have to leave the Facebook environment — a "must have" for the millions of Facebook users. One of the biggest differentiators between TicketForce's Facebook Ticketing solution and others is that it is completely customized to the brand that is using it, not to TicketForce.
Users can build up a brand's Fan Page by offering special deals and incentives to fans, such as the ability to access pre-sale specials to big concerts, shows and festivals. Features include much more than a simple ticket purchase — customers can also choose seats, apply promotional codes and purchase multiple levels of tickets (VIP, general admissions, etc.) through the application.
TicketForce offers the service for a small set-up fee and a per ticket fee, based on volume of tickets sold.
